Rates
Prices depend on the how long the piece is, how quickly you need it back, and what level of work you need. Please email for a no-obligation quote, ideally including a sample.
International students
We will proofread a document for British English. We’re not able to proofread assignments which are assessing your English Language abilities, and don’t offer a translation service. However, having your document proofread by someone who has English as their first language can help to convey your points in a clear manner.
File format
We accept a variety of file formats, though our preferred format is Microsoft Word
How it works
Email over your document using Microsoft Word and we will send it back using tracked changes, together with a proofreading report. If you’re not sure how tracked changes works, we’re happy to help you.
Turnaround times
We operate a fast turnaround and can normally work within the timescale you need. For very tight turnarounds, we will probably need advance notice of when to expect the piece. Bear in mind that certain times of the year are busier than others. For example, we are very busy in August each year as most Masters programmes have their dissertation deadlines around then.
Academic regulations
Don’t worry – we’re not going to rewrite your assignment. Proofreading is not against the rules. In fact, some universities insist on your using a professional proofreader. If you have any concerns, feel free to get in touch and ask any questions.
Proofreading or editing?
We can offer detailed editorial advice for an additional fee. This is most likely to be useful for longer assignments, dissertations and theses, and creative works.
